Vinexpo is one of the largest exhibitions for wine professionals and spirits from around the world. From the 18th to the 21st of June in the fantastic city of Bordeaux. Vinexpo will host 80 lecturers, 2350 exhibitors and about 50,000 visitors. Right in the heart of the fair (Hall 1, CD 339 and DE 339) 240 m2 of passion for blind tasting. With over 100 winegrowers from around the world in our Stand. A must for winemakers and wine lovers like us.

Bodega Raffy will be protagonists this year with Tasted 100% Blind and Andreas Larsson, the Best Sommelier of the World. Bodega Raffy is the realisation of a family dream: finding a fantastic terroir in a breathtaking region, building a winery from the ground up, and making world-class Malbec wines.

Under the supervision of Marcelo Pelleriti, Bodega Raffy has the ambition to allow Argentinian Malbec to reveal its fullest potential. We therefore cultivate grapes following sensible agricultural methods, with low yields, in order to produce excellent cuvées, made using French oak exclusively.

This are their wines you will find in Vinexpo Tasted 100% Blind:
• Hedera 2014 – Argentina – Mendoza Tupungato – Red
• Pardus 2014 – Argentina – Mendoza Tupungato – Red
• Tursos 2014 – Argentina – Mendoza Tupungato – Red
• Merlot “333” 2014 – Argentina – Mendoza Tupungato - Red

The vineyard is adjacent to the Andes Mountain Range, in the Province of Mendoza, 3500-feet altitude, just below the Tupungato Volcano which gives its name to the village. Tupungato is the highest area of the Uco Valley and the point of departure of the Wine Route, along which some of Argentina’s most famous bodegas have set foot, due to the very high quality of the soil and grapes.

Harvests are exclusively done manually, which allows to only pick the healthiest and most perfectly mature grapes. Those grapes are then directly taken to the wine-making unit adjacent to the vineyard, where they arrive intact in the same small cases which were used to harvest them.
